There is definitely some merit to what you say Penga, they're the same worries I have. He is a leader anyway, the captaincy is just a 'title', we have many different leaders.

I'm probably going to shot down here, but in Port's first years Wanganeen was captain and his game suffered. I know most here hate him, but I think he's a very good player. Once Primus was made Captain, Wanganeen started playing well again. Look at this year. It's been a ripper for him.
I would hate to see Goodsey suffer a similar fate.
