12,000 left and falling

AFL.com says only 12,000 tickets remain for the game.

If that is the case and with the capacity of 82,500 with un-restricted viewing seats, then we have cracked the 70,000 mark.

It would be great to sell-out the game and have more than the Collingwood army has at the "G".

With the forcast for sunshine, should at least beat the 72,000 set at our last H&A game.

Come on Sydney only 12,000 more to go.....................

Am I right in thinking that Stade Oz members had to purchase their tickets for this one? So the likelihood is that their won't be a lot of absenteeism from there. I think we'll get to 77-78,000.

That actually worries me. Sydney doesn't have a great track record when it comes to record crowds...

Telstra Stadium members (about 10,000 all up) don't have to pay anything (apart from their already paid annual membership) to attend this week's match.

But they DO have to BOOK their seat and if they "no show" they go to the back of the queue next time (and can even lose their membership if they keep doing it) so it's not like a normal half-full members area.

A Lions fan here at work just booked some tickets and they were in 625-2 that was the best available.
