    Rawlings to the Swans?

News tonight is that Geelong are no certainties to get Rawlings and that Hawthorn's offer falls $50,000 p.a. short of Geelongs.

Story is several clubs are chasing him. Now Nathan Brown is supposedly wrapped up in black and white paper, so it probably isn't the Pies.

Could it be that things are being kept quiet because he is being courted by one of the other remaining finalists.

We have been pretty good at snagging a top player or two in recent years. Are we the dark horse to get him. We do need a tall key position player, and he would be going to an emerging club. Would slot in very nicely thank you very much.

Food for thought. Watch this space.

I would not be surprised if Syndey chase either Rawlings,Lucas or Jacobs very hard could be a very interesting trading period.

I just want a tall back who can also ruck occasionally. I don't think we need another forward.

This is the last thing I'm worried about at the moment. We have a preliminary final on Saturday night, and I cannot think of anything else but that.

I'll worry about trades after we win the flag(hoping).

I am trying everything not to think about it!!! I have no control over the game other than screaming myself hoarse.....I am so over the top at the moment that I am trying to find anything that will stop me running to the net and refreshing this page and any other footy site!.

I just want a proper Centre Half Back, that can set up attacks and that if needed take the second tall forward from the other team. Rawlings isn't really that for mind and would most likely cost us too much anyway.
              Once was, now elsewhere

I doubt Brown will be a pie, Collingwood are chasing Nick Stevens of Port. Stevens has been a long term target and he's put off contact neogotiations till the end of the year.

Brown will definitely not be at the Bulldogs next year, 3 or 4 clubs have been mentioned... Carlton is a firm favourite. Though I have heard that Essendon may be willing to trade Jacobs and Bolton for Brown.

Also be surprised if Rawlings left, I'd think that Holland would be traded to make some salary cap space. Holland has always been linked to Adelaide throughout his career. Rawlings has had a gun year in the forward line.

                  The butterfly's are killing me.

I cannot think of anything else but the big one on Saturday night.
I have a wedding to go to and My wife has already warned me not to go missing for the whole game.My answer was I wouldn't do that baby you will be able to find me at 1/2 time.

I had already planned a holiday with friends Grand Final weekend to be in Melbourne on our way to a week on the gold coast it is almost surreal to think that I could be in Melbourne the weekend my beloved swans play off in a grand final.

How good would a framed Weg preimership poster go next to my lithograph of plugger kicking 1300

My tip is an in and under type like McGough to replace cressa, the ruck spot will be filled with a late pick for a older back up ruckman to wonky knee Doyle

How dare you mention a dud like McGoof in the same breath as Cressa.

Cressa is a superstar, McGoof is a nobody, never will be typical Collingwood Spaz.

McCough-it-up. Not in a zillion years would we be that silly.
