    10's coverage on Sat. night

I know it doesn't probably effect most of you guys but it does me

Why in the hell does 10 need to put this game on delay, the coverage starts at 8pm. It's live into the other states why not in Sydney, if there's some logic there I'd like to hear it.

Now I'm stuck, I go for the wireless or block my ears and wait for the TV.

Not sold out yet, hence no live feed to Sydney, same is true of the Collingwood match in VIC. 1 hour delay for Melbourne.

P.s. Is there live coverage in sydney of the quest to be our opponents?

There should be live coverage of the other game in Sydney because its not in NSW (like Melbourne with the Sydney game). It's all about drawing in the crowds.

Irrelevant for Sydney. There is no rule in Sydney that games can't be televised live against the gate - in fact the Swans themselves seem to be in favour of it - and all day time games are certainly televised live.

live coverage in Sydney for the Collingwood / Port game.

It could be worse floppinab, the old tv guide I originally saw, had the game set for 11pm I nearly had a heart attack at that, even though I'll be there. If they are serious about promoting and expanding the game here, it should be live. Perhaps it's just greed on the AFL's part?

It is an AFL decision from head office and it is they who benefit from the money raised from people desperate to see the game live. The finals compared to the H & A is a different kettle of fish unfortunately. Hard to disagree with what is actually happening.

They are still hoping for unsold seats to be sold to the desperate on Saturday. If it sells out today they are able to change planning on scheduled times, but I reckon it will get to about 78000.

                Nothing to complain about here.

Sydneysiders SHOULDN'T get a live feed unless the game is sold out.

That way more people actually go to the game, and that is only good for the team.
Add to that the extra $$$ for the Swans.

I understand that some games are live in Sydney even when not sold out, and the reasons for that, but this is a final with big publicity.

But we don't benefit directly from gate receipts for the finals - the money goes to the AFL who then distribute it to the 16 clubs. So a bigger crowd actually translates to more money to us, but to all other 15 clubs as well.

8.30pm is the time I heard tonight on the Radio for Sydney coverage - maybe ch 10 will wake up to themselves and show it live at 7.30pm
                      Love those Swans

8PM is the start time for the broadcast but I imagine the bounce will be at about 8:30 (ie one hour delayed)

And people at the game hopefully enjoy it and return for more games in the following seasons

I'd love to be there tonight with 70,000 other Swans fans and hear the roar.
                          It would be awesome.
