Doin' it the Roos way

Very little of this article tells us anything we haven't already read or heard, but it's pretty well put together and is an inspirational and, dare I say it, soothing read on the morning of The Day.

I particularly liked his insistence that he was as much to blame as Eade for the lack of faith shown in certain players in seasons past, and the recognition that it needed an outsider, in Jonas, to come in and question the existing coaching panel.

Gee, there's some good stuff finally being written about the club. Just found this article as well, from The Australian. Some of it covers similar ground to the one above, but there's a lot more about the player empowerment, not to mention bricks at Bondi.

Roos has been very impressive with everything he has implemented and the team seems very close and disciplined.

The thing that impresses me and I admire so much about Roosy is his honesty and openness. He tells it like it is,, is willing to admit when something hasn't worked and wear the blame for it.

It really is no surprise that that players are so motivated to do the right thing by him as well.

Reading Roos' words it is easy to see why the club gave him the job after talking with him.

Great articles. Fantastic to read after the lose (to give at least some faith).

If they can build on that work ethic than there is something to work on definately.

Especially like the bit about the player group developing leadership and accountability.

Can also see from Roosy's attitude that he is very unlikely to be interested in trades - more in encouraging the group to succeed together.
