It was definately time - but well done on a long career.

We have young midfielders in the 2s who will come through.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Having watched Cressa over a lot of years - I feel his position in the TOC was fantastic and well deserved. Thankyou for the memories enjoy after footy life.

Well done on a fantastic career Cressa!

You have inspired your team mates and supporters with your heroic play and have gone where men fear to tread.

You may not be the most rated player, but I think you were tops and if we had a few more blokes like you running around, the 70 year premership drought would you been broken long ago.

Well done Cressa, the heart and soul of the club. Shoes that are going to be very hard to fill.

Hope the next chapter turns out well.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Well done Cressa on a fantastic career. Great effort throughout all those years and especially last night. He must have been playing with some pain or injury as he spent a lot of time as a forward.

A player who made the most of his ability - shame his career could no end on a brighter note.

I was always felt watching him that he really wished he was Paul Kelly.

              Will be missed

Congrats Cressa, very well done. All guts, all commitment and flashes of brilliance. Enjoy the years ahead.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Definitely the oldest of the two remaining members of the 1996 Grand Final team (which if I'm not mistaken are Magic and Stuey).

Even though the 1996 team (seniors list) included players such as Leo Barry, Ben Matthews, Daniel McPherson, Matthew Nicks and Brad Seymour, Magic and Stuey were the only two who played in the GF along side Cressa.
