    Sharing the pain

I have just read all todays comments(and those written last night) I am still feeling the pain but find it helps to know that others feel it as well. I wanted to progress but have to admit that after watching the Collingwood game I was already worrying that they would kill us and that sitting amongst their fans would be unbearable.I just hope they continue to improve and don't go backwards. After supporting them for well over 40 years I am tired and really want success.
Does anyone know if the Swans players themselves use this site and read the comments?
This site is great. I have just been shown in the last 4 days how to use it(by my daughter) The summer will not be so boring now I can still read Swans info, news etc

anne,,, My sentiments exactly, I have followed the swans for over 40yrs, yes I was desperate for them to get into the Grand Final, I think after all this time we do deserve a premiership,,, I mean with the success of Brisbane, Adelaide etc I think we deserve to have our time.

Just like you I hope we can keep improving next year and get the players that we need to go that little bit further., anyway Thanks Swans for giving me such a exciting year, you did do us proud.

Goodluck Cressa in your retirement,,, You have definitely been one of our Champion players, sorry we could not give you the send off you would of hoped for, but I am sure they gave it their best shot.:

Some of the players MUST read this forum. It defies logic to think otherwise...also considering the average AFL players penchant for fun and games it would be logical to assume that some of the posters are players (who possibly score points off each other for every time you suggest that your flatmate should be delisted).

Most of the players know of the site, I have discussed it with many of them and when I attend functions ask for some stuff I can put in my report. Willo wasn't aware of it last year until I told him he'd won the TLM at the B&F presentation. When I've seen him more recently, he said that his wife reads occassionally and he's had a look at it too.
