Mine were the home games against Brisbane and the Western Bulldogs. Brisbane because no-one expected us to win, and because it was so close towards the end. Bulldogs because we won for Maxfield's 250th. I also love the SCG on Sunday afternoons - prefer them over night games any day.

For individual performances I loved the Carlton match which opened the season because we knew we were playing an team that were supposed to not win plus Willo was just brilliant in it.
In terms of team efforts the standouts for me were the Brisbane match (Willo's 250th match), Port and Pies matches (which we won) and the Melbourne Anzac Day match when we were down and then kicked the record margin 4th quarter.

Favourite game I went to: beating Collingwood at Telstra Dome
Favourite game on TV: beating Port in Qualifying Final
Favourite non-Swans game I went to: Brisbane beating C'wood at the MCG and that magical 8-goal 1st quarter. I had so much fun I even sang the Lions theme song at the end of the game!Comment

I think the Port game defined the whole year- what we were about.
To win when we weren't suppose to win.
To hold on with all our might.
To show courage in the face of danger....
I also think the Melbourne Anzac day game was great- turning our season in a 180.Comment

Brisbane at SCG was the best game I saw live.
On TV it's a toss up between Brisbane at the Gabba (I wrote the game off at half time and endured the nail biting finish) and Melbourne on ANZAC day (I was in Bathurst judging a brewing competition and woke up a hotel room full of snoring judges with my cheering).Comment

We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Praise be! I don't think Stadium Australia will ever come close to a Sunday afternoon at the SCG... but... please... please... if we -have- to start early to accomodate Chanel 9, could someone speak to the management at the Fox and Lion and get them to start cookin' earlier?
I swear the Swans definitely came to loathe Saturday night games in the end - they lost 3 consecutive Saturday night games - all in Sydney *ick*.Comment

The Melb game at the SCG with the massive last qtr burst, or the Lions game at the SCG, boths atmosphere was electric- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

Definitely the Brisbane game at the SCG. The look on the Lion's supporters faces was priceless.
It was as if somebody had stolen their teddy bears or something..I laughed out loud..very nasty of me I know!
I think it must have been the first defeat they had seen for a long time...I truly enjoyed that game.Comment

Best game in Melb that I attended: Collingwood
Best game in Syd that I attended: Brisbane
Best game on TV: Port
Best non Swans game I will attend: The Grannie
How depressed is Sydney today? It is truly a difficult thing to comprehend that 30 minutes of footy is the difference between jubilation, euphoria etc for this city and just nothing at all.
Even people I have been talking to in Melb say that we have made the Grannie so terrible because they hate the Maggies and Brisbane's dominance is just plain old boring and nor do they want them to have 3peat bragging rights. The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment
