    Goodes for best and fairest

Goodes has to get it this year. But there are many others who could get it. Leapin Leo i think would be the next. Ur thoughts?

Kirky or Goodes depending on who votes

The coaching staff vote. From memory, the last few years, each gets to give as many players as he likes up to 5 votes. All the votes gets tallied and the bloke with the most wins. QED

from what I understand the votes are given dependant on the job they've been given and how well they performed it. So someone who we think may have had a quiet game could score top points as it's exactly what was asked of him. I think I'll be Kirky or a very close finish between him and Goodsey.

There are so many players that have played well this year. But Kirk and Goodes are the stand outs IMO.

Agree with these sentiments Schneidergirl, but I think Kirky might be the one as he didn't miss a beat all year.

One thing's for sure whichever one doesn't get it will most likely get Most Improved player.

An interesting thing was looking in the AFL record and seeing the best players for the 22 rounds.

It was like looking at last year's one - even though Willo won't win the B&F this year his name was the one that featured the most times in the 22 rounds along with Matthews, Kirk and Goodes.

That also made me realise this, if Willo didn't get injured for those rounds last year he could have very well won the Brownlow considering he got 16 votes from the matches he played in.

Kirky for mine, simply because it coes from the match committee - they know that a guy has performed well if his job was to do the team job and not necessarily win heaps of the ball. We as watchers of the game tend to focus on output, and are often unaware of exactly how valuable this type of contribution is.

If its the coaching staff it will be Kirky closely followed by Goodes, Leo and C Bolton

What about Cressa? He has surely got to be up there, maybe not in top spot but i'd say quite high up the list of contentors. But IMO Kirky will win.

Dont discount jude bolton he had a stellar year, in fact he may poll the most votes in the brownlow out of all the swans.
