    Fozzy

Trust Fozzy to grab the 3 votes at the end...couldn't he have had just a slightly less good game in rnd 22?

(by the way...this is not a SERIOUS post).
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

    Great effort.

And I've been touting him as a potential trade.

    Perhaps I was wrong?
I was wrong once before lol

Maybe he is worth more as a trade now

I thought Micky would have pipped Goodes to get 3 and maybe Fozzy get 1 or 2, luckily it was the 1, A Brownlow is a Brownlow whether it is tied or not

Interesting that Goodes polled in 11 games - Fossie had 3 BOGs. Congrats to him for the Brownlow votes - and maybe following sat night he has copped a bit too much criticism - but he needs to reduce the gap between his best and his worst.

Well done to Bolts as well (last years chopping block player) 13 votes.

A good chance to win one with an outstanding year Bolts - epitimses the aspects of Brownlow winners - Fairness - determination - leadership - courage - hard work......

            Jude Bolton 13
            Nic Fosdike 9
            Paul Williams 8
            Barry Hall 7
            Daryn Cresswell 5
Leo Barry, Michael O'Loughlin, Jason Ball 4
            Stuart Maxfield 3
Brett Kirk, Ryan O'Keefe, Adam Schneider, Tadhg Kennelly 1

We all know how much Jude improved this year but I didn't realise Fossy had played in that many 'stand out' games

I don't know why but I'm chuckling here that Fossy beat Willo by a point and Willo beating BBB by a point.

Fosdike, particularly given our current style of play, is going to stand out from time-to-time.

When our running game is going and the likes of Barry and Kennelly are streaming downfield, Fosdike can be a good linkman.

In the 3 games he polled as BOG he had a total of 65 possessions, only 12 of which were either R50's or I50's - ie. he gets his possessions in the middle of the ground (even if it is out in space on a wing) which seemingly catches more of the ump's attention than guys like Barry, Kennelly etc.

He also always looks very balanced and controlled (not that the actual delivery is always spot on) - maybe that's another thing that catches attention. His high kick-handball ratio probably also makes each of his possessions more obvious.

Would Goodesy have won it if Jason Ball had been there to take some more votes as well??
Of course he deserves it , no question , but a fit JB would surely have added to the Swans overall tally.

Goodes only polled 4 votes (2 x 2 games) after Ball went down in round 17. If he hadn't been in the ruck, he may have even polled more.

                    Go you goodes thing.....

If Ball had been there I reckon we'd be playing in the GF this weekend and then Goodsey probably wouldn't care whether he'd won the Brownlow or not.

                        I agree.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

And that shows these nutcases that want to trade Fozzy. He's good, and getting better. I look forward to his next season.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

the thing is the umps often see it differently so getting a three voter off them doesn't necessarily mean a gun game in my opinion. History shows that there are good players who rarely got votes, and greats who never won the award.

now doesn't your post just devalue every single brownlow medallist including the latest ones?
