Swans come third in 2003

The Swans officially ended this season in third position. It comes down to who loses the least finals and we only lost one (bugger) while Port lost two.

From last to third and even some interstate media have finally noticed. I'm already nervous about next year. But reassured that Roos says he just wants a couple of stars to top up our ranks.

Anyone notice that we scored so many Brownlow votes - and none of our players were reported? Great clean team playing exciting footy.

We had some reported but none suspended in the regular season.

Though Powell was suspended in the pre-season cup.

Thanks Gossipcom for info on both threads. Micky's act narrows it down to two games - and glad they showed it last night. It warmed my heart - still does.

Does no-one suspended mean we're clean or soft? Should we have kept Rocca - and would he fit into our current team? I suspect we do need a hard man in midfield. But nice to have one who'd be available for the GF, unlike Rocca if there is any justice.
