    Lucas has re-signed

There was a little note at the bottom of an Age article (possibly the Nick Stevens one) that mentioned Lucas has got another couple of years at the bombers.

I think we should go after Jacobs (ahead of Michael who is quoted again as saying that he won't be talkinh to Brisbane till after the GF). Power and Lappin haven't signed yet....Aker got a pay rise, Voss is about to sign a 4 year deal...and the Lions have to cut $1 mill form their player payments (according to the Age).

    M. Bolton is a handy player, but Jacobs is a genuine Old-fashioned defender, which is what we need.

As a Bomber, I agree with what a_g_b said. He's done well for the Bombers and it would have been a shame to lose him, especially after they had to let Caracella, Blumfield & Heff go last year.
Mark McVeigh wants to go to Sydney, but he's probably the only current Bomber the Swans would get. It'll be hard enough to trade for one player, let alone 2.
