    Is O'Keefe homesick?

Is it true that O'Keefe is homesick? I would not like to lose him but if he wants to return maybe he could be a direct swap for McVeigh. Talk of trading Fosdike is crazy. He is valuable to Sydney and will be more consistent as he gets more experienced. His Brownlow polling shows he can't be too bad!

Stats can be interpreted many waya, but I wouldn't say these do him any favours considering there is no Kelly or Schwass around looking for the ball in the midfield....

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

All that statistics talk makes me ask this question.

Who topped the possession count this year for the swans in terms of average?

I know Kirk was top in tackles but for the other stats I couldn't be bothered going through all the players to find out

He also polled last year too. His game has improved this year. His work with Stuie running and triming some of the bulk added from his weight work outs has helped him. He's been playing some great footy around the ground and not just in the forward line. I think he could replace Cressa in the midfield as he does run and run and is tough at the ball, has great hands and a beautiful long kick.

I really hope all of these whispers are just that and he signs with us soon. Stay in Sydney Pebbles, we need you
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

          Love and peace

How on earth did Fozzie get 3 BOG's. Has never been within a bulls roar of a BOG. As for Round 22, his first 1/2 was so bad we in the our group in the outer had him traded at 1/2 time. And I am talking a good dozen people who winced every time he got it. His 2 by foot turnovers when under no pressure and with players running in support were appalling.

Goodes was by a mile BOG and without him in the first half, floating across half back holding up the Dees, we would have been up that famous creek without a paddle.

              in your opinion

IMO, however, i thought fossie was definitely deserving of BOG on that day

If I understand your argument correctly, you're saying that:

Either three separate sets of umpires no nothing about football,

                or

                You don't!

                Correct me if I'm wrong?

Has Fozzie got a sign on his back saying "kick me - I'm Nic"? His contribution this year has well earned him his Browlow points (though he could have lent one to Goodes).

So only Roos and umpires think he's any good but Swans supporters don't? I'm looking forward to watching him play for the Swans next year - just as I did this year.

Is it too harsh to suggest you get behind all our players or get lost?

Nico, after Rd 22 many of us, me included and obviously Penga (given his previous post), wrote that Fearless was fantastic and just about deserving of BOG.

You replied that you and your group wanted him traded at half time because he was having a shocker.

Now that the umpires have confirmed he did not have a shocker, why do you still think you and your group are so wise on all things Fosdike?

                      I think you are wrong.

The umpires gave Buckley 1 vote for the game against us in Round 21. They didn't give Goodes a vote in Round 20 against the Lions. They have no credibility based on votes such as these.

Fosdike has had an OK year, nothing special. I don't think he was deserving of 3 BOG's.

I remember it well Nico, and I agree entirely with you. There is no way Fosdike was BOG in Rd 22. Were people watching a different game to us? Micky kicked 5 in a stunning exhibition and won the game for us, whilst Goodes was phenomenal as always.

How could anyone seriously suggest that Fosdike deserved the 3 votes ahead of Micky and Goodesy? He played well in the 2nd half and was probably deservant of one vote, for his 2nd half performance, but definitely not BOG, for mine

Just quietly, how did Buckley poll a vote against us in Rd 21, Kirky gave him a touch up. So that just proves that the umpires don't always get it right, or do people think Buckley deserved that vote....?
