    Thanks Bazza

In the drama of the PF and Adam's Brownlow I haven't seen a thread to thank our highest goal scorer this season.

When we've been discussing our most valuable player we've almost come to take Barry Hall for granted. Let's redress that.

Barry, it's wonderful having you on the team. Every time you take a mark I can relax knowing we have the best possible chance for a goal.

And you're a great team player. The energy you've sometimes carried into the midfield to get the team across the line when others were out of action has been astounding. And, as we found out lots of time inside 50 but also in the Port game you're a bloody good ruckman, too.

When you arrived at Sydney I thought "great - we've got ourselves a full forward show poney thug." Watching your game evolve so you just use your strength to win games - and your skills to set up goals for you or others - has been really gratifying. At the Hawks game a Hawks fan called out "you're a thug Hall" and when I called back "haven't seen much football in the past couple of years mate?" all the Swans fans smiled and nodded.

Here's a pact. If you play as you did this year we promise BBB will always stand for Big Bustling Barry. And congratulations on your Brownlow points. Who knows what's next - an umpire may actually give you all the frees you deserve?

    Barry Hall is severely underrated.
People talk about Brown and Tredrea as champions or future champions but I wouldn't swap Barry for either of them.

His goal kicking is sensational, he can outmark any backman,
but he is too nice. That's right too nice.
If you watch Lynch, or have seen Dunstall play they both push off on the lead and take uncontested leading marks.

The amount of times Joel Smith of Hawthorn hacked his arms when he was going for the mark was ridiculous.

I think LRT is going to make a great half forward. He is tall and quick. He made Leppitsch look slow. With Mickey O, Schneider,LRT,
Barry won't be the focal point of the defence and will get less attention and more room.
There will be no need for him to roam around up the ground to help out.He can stay at full forward and have a 100 goal season.

I have no idea how he will get the free kicks he deserves.
A journo did write that umpires favour blokes with dyed blonde hair for Brownlow votes so maybe an image change for Barry is required.
Convincing him to grow his hair and to dye it is another matter.

Hahaha, I'd love to See Goodesy with dyed blonde hair. He'd win for the next 10 years then!

Really?!? I just thought "great - we've got ourselves a full forward"! But BH was great this year, keeping an amazingly level head - even in the last do-or-die game where he was incorrectly pinged for holding the ball. He just let the expression on his face do the talking. But it hasn't been at the expense of toughness, he's still one scary @@@@ for the opposition!

Here's to a lot more suspension free years!

Bazza not having to visit Melbourne on a Tuesday evening is nearly as sensational as reaching a PF !

Has the three ingredients needed to be a genuine Sydney hero:
A good bloke (saw how he was with the kids a few weeks ago), a talented footballer - and a self confessed ugly bugger!

(And by the way , Tredrea is a fine player - but when you don't kick straight consistently at CHF , you can't be a champion)
