Brett Kirk came out with some interesting stuff about how Melaxos basically helped him transform his game. He said that he was dragged into the office last year where Melaxos brought up the idea of turning him into a purely defence-focussed.
So well done Steve Melaxos!

PS:- Roosey was also very forthcoming in his praise for Melaxos, saying that without SM he simply couldn't have taken over the coaching job as easily as he did last year."Never ever ever state that Sydney is gone.They are like cockroaches in the aftermath of a nuclear war"

Went up to Malaxos a couple of times at the club champion dinner and congratulated him on a terrific time at the swans. Then proceeded to wish him all the best for the rest of his career. Very nice man. All smiles.
I've really enjoyed having Malaxos at the club. Guess there is no where else for him to go now!
