Adam Goodes? spectacular season continued last night when was awarded the Sydney Swans highest individual accolade picking up the Bob Skilton Medal as 2003 Club Champion.

Just over a week after winning the Brownlow Medal Goodes came with a late rush to reel in Brett Kirk in the last few games of the year to win the Skilton Medal by 29 votes.

Jude Bolton was close up in third place with Barry Hall fourth. Jude Bolton picked up a consolation in winning the Dennis Carroll Trophy for Most Improved Player.

Other awards went to Jason Ball for Best Clubman, Barry Hall as Player?s Player, Adam Schneider as the Sydney Swans Rising Star and Leo Barry as the Multiplex One Percenter.

Surprised to see Micky out of the top ten, I know he missed a fair few games. But he had some outstanding games which I thought would have brought him into the top 10.

Goodesy hardly came home with a rush, he was leading from the very fisst and stayed there. Scored 31 points in round 1, followed by Leapin' on 28 and Jude on 27 .... After 10 rounds was 178 to the Captain's 135 and Jude's 131 .... Round 20 same story, Goodesy on 218, Kirk on 309 and Jude on 278 ... then the end result .
