    Tingay

Don't think anyone has yet included this in a thread - apologies if its old news.

But it was announced last night at the B&F that Tingay is leaving the club as well. Real shame, IMO. Apart from being a runner, he's also been the conditioning coach and the evidence suggests he was pretty good at it.

All the best to Stephen in his new pursuits.

For a supposed "waste" stinger has been a credit to the club and definitely a big part of why we were one of the hardest running clubs in 2003. Here's hoping the next in line can do as well as, if not better, than he did with our boys!

so now we've lost both runners. Will we start a new tradition of retired players being our runners? Will we we see Cressa and Frosty in the canary yellow next year???

Good luck Stinger or as we affectionately call you The Phantom.

If Warfe still has a year left on his contract, he'd be my guess for runner

I doubt if AFL rules allow a player to be a runner.

Also, i dont think warfe is up to the job of a runner. SCG toilet cleaner may suit him a bit more.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

I was implying that rather than play out next year in the reserves and cost a spot on the list (and some salary cap), he may prefer to retire and become a relatively, highly paid runner instead.

Mid, isn't Barnsie still playing? He spends as much time on the ground as some players and takes up good position to obscure a lead and fill a hole...

Mmmm. Warfe as runner/loose man in defense. Maybe. He can't make a clanger if he doesn't touch the ball.
