I got this from the swans website - Talking with Tadgh
Tadhg: This is talking with Tadhg and I?ve got the young Adam Schneider with me. Well Adam, we have seen you kicking some of those boring goals on the field this year.
Adam: Points.
Tadhg: All right, we have seen you kicking points on the field. What do you get up to when you?re not playing or training?
Adam: I?m studying actually to become a personal trainer. As the smile on your face tells me, its obviously pretty funny to think that I might be able to become a personal trainer and actually tell somebody how to get fit without them laughing at me.
Tadhg: Did you always think you could play AFL at the top level?
Adam: No, I didn?t think I?d ever really get the chance. It was always a dream when I was younger, but I got the chance 2 years ago and I?m absolutely loving it at the moment.
Tadhg: What would you be doing if you weren?t an AFL footballer?
Adam: I dare say I?d probably be back home on the farm or just being a bum.
Tadhg: Your good at being a bum aren?t you?
Adam: Yeah, I take lessons from you mate.
Tadhg: Tell us a bit about where you grew up and what it was like being a country boy?
Adam: I grew up in a small community with a population of about 10, which consisted of two families. It had a footy oval with netball and tennis courts. I then moved to Wagga for a couple of years to work on my footy and go to school. I?ve been living in Sydney for the past two years.
Tadhg: Just a bit about the Swans. In your short career, what has been your most memorable moment?
Adam: I think the game against Port Adelaide would definitely be up there. It was one of the greatest team wins I?ve had I'm my career ever. My debut of course is one I?ll always remember, but we have had lots of great wins this year.
Tadhg: Brisbane in Brisbane was pretty good, wasn?t it?
Adam: It was, the boys really dug in.
Tadhg: Who do you think is the funniest player at the Swans?
Adam: Definitely not Tadhg Kennelly. I?d have to say probably that Matthew Nicks is up there for sure.
Tadhg: Who is the sexiest player at the Swans?
Adam: Again, definitely not Tadhg Kennelly. Probably not Barry Hall either for that matter.
Tadhg: Best fashion sense?
Adam: Best fashion sense would have to be Mark Powell. I reckon he?s got a really good taste in clothes and I like the way he wears them.
Tadhg: Very funny.
Adam: He does look after himself.
Tadhg: Which player has the most annoying habit?
Adam: Probably Tadhg Kennelly. No not you. Probably Daniel Hunt because he has a really short temper. We try and control him, but at the moment it is pretty annoying.
Tadhg: Do you have a favourite holiday destination or any plans for holidays in the off-season?
Adam: My favourite destination would have to be home, I enjoy heading back there. I?m heading overseas in the off-season, going to visit you in Dublin.
Tadhg: That?s right.
Adam: Yeah, I?ll spend a weekend in Dublin and then head to London for a couple of weeks.
Tadhg: You don?t mind Irish chicks do you? I?ve seen you sticking your head in a few of the Gaelic clubs.
Adam: Not sure about that.
Tadhg: You will love Ireland; the chicks really dig little midgets. You will fit right in with the leprechauns.
Adam: Thanks mate, I?m glad I can fit in somewhere.
Tadhg: What type of music are you into?
Adam: Any types of music really, don?t mind Powderfinger.
Tadhg: What?s your favourite movie?
Adam: American Pie 2
Tadhg: TV Show?
Adam: The Simpsons.
Tadhg: What are you reading?
Adam: No, I can?t read yet.
Tadhg: Got a joke for us?
Adam: No jokes, I?m pretty boring.
Tadhg: Have you got a girlfriend, wife or kids?
Adam: Not even close mate.
Tadhg: No kids? Sure you don?t have kids around Wagga?
Adam: Not even close mate.
Tadhg: Just a couple of questions about Ireland. Do you know the population of Ireland?
Adam: Too many and they all come over here.
Tadhg: Four and a half million. Do you know what Bull Thick means?
Adam: Yes I do, but I?m not going to say it.
Tadhg: OK, what is it Adam?
Adam: I?ll let people?s imagination work that out.
Tadhg: It?s actually someone who is very angry when he is on the field. So its pretty much Daniel Hunt all the time.
Adam: Daniel Hunt or Stephen Doyle.
Tadhg: Yeah, Stephen Doyle as well. That?s it for ?Talking with Tadhg?. Thanks very much Adam!
Adam: No worries Tadhg, it is has been a pleasure.
Tadhg: Cheers!
