    [i]Full Backs Mathews.....Schauble.....Kennelly
Schuable is the most underated player at the club. Mathews is reliable, and Kennelly is a bit of a floater. Crouch can come in to tag a forward pocket.

COVERAGE: Loose Schuabs and we have no one to take on the big FF's. In trouble. Matthews and Kennelly/Couch can be covered by any of our mid-sized players.
    QUALITY: 6/10.
Kennelly is one of key running players, hence needs to be on the wing or HBF. If he plays in the back pocket we will lose a lot of his run.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Kennelly should improve, but its too much to ask Williams or Maxfield to come back all the time. Other than Mathews I dont see any other candidates.

Maybe we need a total rethink on strategy.
Maybe if we get Wheatley he could be the answer!!

Of course, you would want to swap it around through a game and a season, but I think he provides more value as the around-the-ground ruckman.
I think he plays his best footy in the ruck, the problem is the effect on his body.

He has never been tried as a midfield type player. I would like to see him play the Kouta or Hird type role - free spirits. Impossible to match up regardless where he plays.

The wear and tear on his body is an issue. For centre bounces, I think it might be best to use a tall tap ruckman (eg: Ball, LRT, Doyle) with Goodes coming in off half back. The ruckman then moves down into the forward line during play, while Goodes remains the around the ground ruckman. This will effectively give him a midfield role also, and give us an extra midfielder around the ground.

I like this idea. Plus it would also give Goodes a break from ruckwork in the forward line.

Nicks and his Home and aways friend have parted now for sure, according to the Sunday paper Sydney. Will be interesting either makes it easier for him to take a trade or maybe his playing style will change. Sometimes looks great.
              Love those Swans

hopefully our whole team can be restructured with the adding of R.Hall and rookies.

I agree that O'Loughlin would be better used closer to goal, in the hole behind Barry Hall.

I would love to see Goodes play Ruck-rover as I feel he would become our Voss-like player in the midfield and it would also give us a chance to play Ball and Doyle more offen on the field so both would swap with each other and Goodes pinch hitting around the ground.

LRT has to get game time at CHB next season and plenty of it. While it might still be a bit early to put him on the top line CHF's, give time in the position against lesser CHF's and build him up to play on a Jon Brown, because I tell you what playing Saddo or Craig Bolton at CHB isn't going to work every week.

Overall I think we'll see much of the same, with maybe Davis and Schneider getting more time in the midfield and a few rookies pushing though
                    Once was, now elsewhere

Why, exactly, does the whole team need to be restructured? It's not as if they won the wooden spoon or anything....

Besides, Ray Hall and a couple of rookies are NOT going to make a massive influence on the team.

Notice that I edited that post well thats because I didnt mean to post what I had said and it was the only thing I could come up with to say.

Maybe I should have said ''our backline can be restructured if Ray Hall comes in to take CHB adding James to that our backline wouldnt be so reliant on Schuable not being injured''.

Also is there anyway to delete a post after youve posted it?

WHY would Hall be automatic chb, what has he done at Richmond he barely got a game when he was fit and that was when, I worry people think oh wow hes from another club and sought of fits the mould he's a walk up start then.

IMO he will be a gamble and is a semi-attractive option as he is the age to start producing the goods but for me he would not walk into our best 22 he would have to prove it as I think our defence was in the top four this year.

It may have been but can you really excpect Craig Bolton to play CHB?

We had an extraordinary run with injuries in our back half.

If Schuable or Bolton went down with injurie we would lose.

I dont want to have that problem next season on the way to a premiership.

So why can't LRT or James have a crack there or mix and match really we have some up and comers ourseleves without puting our hopes on Hall, we could use Schuable, Bolton, Lrt, Saddington, James even Goodes at a pinch in the two key back positions.

If we get Hall hey fine if not no loss as far as I am concerned.

For what its worth how team dose not rotate around those two palyers or any two players for that matter.
