    One from left field

Negotiations with a number of Brizzie playes have stalled, and while one would expect them all to resign soon, if they didn't......what a very tempting bunch they are -- including Mal Michael, Power, Bradshaw and Lappin...

Would you trade to get any of these guys, and if so, who?
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Would anyone give up an early draft pick for Michael and Notting?

I can't imagine any of them leaving...BUT if we could throw enough cash at Mal, he is my preferred option.

Dan is too old for mine.

Nigel is great, a little old but I would not screw up my face if we got him.

Luke again would be great but I reckon we have enough guys that do his job, Dick Navis, Fossy and Schneiderman.

If Notting only, Not for a 25 YO guy with a dodgy knee. Maybe worth a second round pick if the SWANS don't like what they see in the depth of the draft.

He is not 25 until the end of November, has played around 100 games and has some finals experience. This year played in defence early on and proved to be quite good at it, maybe not a 'gorilla', but can play back and forward. All in all a handy pick up if the price is not too great.

I don't believe Mathews will let him get away though.

Matthews has said that he is happy for Notting to leave and the Lions will try and get him to a club of his choice.

He is a Melbourne boy though and would probably want to go home first, but he need not look any further than C Bolton to see what he can acheive in Sydney if he gets the opportunity.

And besides could you say no to Roosey if he asked you to come and play for him?

Luke Power, Mal Michael, Daniel Bradshaw, Nigel Lappin. None are really too old to consider. Each of them would slide perfectly into a position which needs filling badly in our team.

Power is not a forward. When he has played in the midfield, he has been awesome. He is Brisbane's #5 midfielder, after the 'fab four'. Lappin is one of those 4. Bradshaw and Michael would fill a key defensive position.

I would give up our 1st round pick for any one of these guys, preferably Power or Michael.

Agree that all of these players would add to the squad - except for Bradshaw. Not really sure what the difference is between him and Leo, B2, Saddo, Seymour, and upcomers Dempster, Powell etc - ie highly capable of playing on medium forwards, able (to varying degrees) to pinch hit on KPPs but not really big enough to be a true FB or CHB.

On other boards, supporters of clubs seem favourable to giving up first/second round picks plus players for Bradshaw. Definitely don't think he's worth that to Sydney.

Power and Lappin are both sheer class and would be valuable to any team. They would cost a lot but would probably be worth it. But I don't see the Swans targeting either vigourously.
