    Will we make any trades?

At this stage we seem to be getting knockbacks rather than any agreements . ie Notting, Ray Hall, Carlton re Nicks , Warfe and Seymour. Does any one know of any possible trades ?

I've read on the Crows board on BigFooty that apparently Adelaide are interested in Scott Stevens.

I'm starting to doubt whether we'll end up with any new players, but i just have this feeling that we'll end up offloading a couple of our players (i.e. Nicks, Seymour, Warfe) to an unsuspecting club somewhere.

I'm hoping that Stevens, Ablett etc. are retained

The thing is you just never know, on the last day of trade period last year i arrived at work to find woewodin a pie, blumfied a tiger heffernen a demonetc.

I suspect that this year will be no different

Would love Port to stick to their guns and not let Stevens become a pie

My weird sense of humour couldn't resist thinking about trading Matthew Micks for Laurence Angwin.

One is Nick's by name whilst the other Nick's by nature.

He's lucky he's at Carlton because if he was at collingwood, he might become a hero. Before I get flamed for cruelty, I hope for his sake he can get his act together because there are many kids with problems that don't get the chances he has.

Seriously, I'm guessing, Sydney will go for Notting with a three way deal with another Club. Sydney might pass on Stevens to Adelaide for a pick then supplement Brisbane with a pick of their own.

Might off load Nicks, Seymour for a third, fourth round pick. Unfortunately, Warfe & Bucky will be delisted.

Then again we might all get a big surprise as it appears Carlton's No 2 pick is still available with Stevens refusing to go.

It really is a shame that Collingwood aren't so @@@@e any more.

How quickly would Tony Shaw have handed over a top 5 pick for a package of Seymour, Warfe and Nicks.

Whilst I have an uncomfortableness about trading them, if they want to go (and for opportunities they should) then it's fine by me.

It would now appear that all clubs are waiting for the N.Stevens and Rawlings trades to either go ahead or not. I'd imagine all other clubs will give it until about 11am-noon - either those two deals had been done freeing up a lot of other trades, or if they hadn't gone through other clubs will probably give up on it do a few smaller deals amongst themselves.
