Boredom aside, it is interesting to note the talent amongst the real "babies" of the side. MJ , Josh Thewliss, Mc Veigh and Malceski, all untried but with obvious talent.

They should all show a lot more thyis year of you can go by age.

It would also appear that MJ may still have some growing taller to do let alone filling out, he should be the perfect size for a ruckman next year.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

I'm glad you're bored. We need some new threads. I am sick of the old ones and re-reading stuff I have already read.

One negative, we do have something of a bubble at about 26/27:

          Brett Kirk___________26.98
          Andrew Scahuble______26.92
          Barry Hall___________26.69
          Michael O'Loughlin___26.66
          Leo Barry____________26.42

Currently, everyone of these players is absolutely essential, its hard to imagine losing all of them in close proximity. Thankfully, it won't be a problem for about 5/6 years.

Yes we need something to get us through the off-season if your completely bored with cricket.

I suggest some kind of contest.

Remember everyone was saying the same thing with the core group of 1996 of Lockett, Kelly, Dunkley, Cresswell and at a later date Schwass. Thankfully their losses was spead over a few years and have never really upset us that much.

How can you be bored with cricket (coming from someone that spends her free time in the summer playing cricket and watching 10 hours of cricket per day!). It's interesting to see Goodes in the Still developing - yet to see their best section.

An interesting look at the playing group - does show that we are at least giving each age group a go!

The playing core is generally between 23 and 30's - shows how good Adam Schneider has done to play all games this year! If we canget another one or 2 of the younger ones up - we can have a good go next year...

                  Thanks

Because it's about as competitive as watching the Brisbane Lions against the Heatherdale U12 B-graders.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
