Imagine that. Hall nabs the Tall at the Fall of the Ball, the crowd All yell "Ball". Hall kicks on to Hall then to Ball....goal!
Great stuff! But try saying that ten times fast!

Here's my best 22 - more like a prediction of what the best 22
could be if we had a whole list to choose from...

      B: Mathews James C.Bolton
      HB: Barry Schauble Saddington
      C: Kennelly Maxfield Williams
      HF: Davis Hall O'Keefe
      F: Schneider Ball O'Loughlin
      R: Goodes J.Bolton Kirk
      INT: Doyle Fosdike Fixter Roberts-Thomson

I think James was originally a key defender type, and I remember reading once that full-back was his preferred position - would take time for him to fit in to the senior side though. If this happens, it would push Schauble to CHB and Saddington to the more appropriate HB flank, allowing Tadhg to run free in the middle

If Fixter recovers from the injuries of this year, I predict he will crack the best 22 again. I've put Ball starting at FF - only to allow Goodesy to start in the ruck.

Kennelly's move to the middle has pushed Fosdike on to the bench.

LRT's on the bench, if Ball and Doyle are both in, the side might be too tall.

Pushing for Selection: Ablett, Nicks (I think the desire will still be there, providing the body is still willing), Seymour (likewise), Powell, Sundqvist

EDIT: Oops! Forgot Crouchy - pardon me, he IS an All-Australian now - could take the spot of Mathews, Fosdike or Fixter in my 22.

Hmm...bit hard to say given that young players can pop up out of nowhere and we may grab an established player in the draft, but at this point I'd go with the following:

              B: Mathews, Schauble, Saddington
              HB: Barry, Bolton, Kennelly
              C: Maxfield, Kirk, Fosdike
              HF: Nicks, Goodes, Davis
              F: Schneider, Hall, O'Loughlin
              R: Ball, Bolton, Williams

              Bench: Doyle, O'Keefe, Seymour, Crouch

If James and/or LRT can cement a key defensive position in the team, with Powell on the bench or on a flank, I think we'll see C.Bolton take a greater role in the midfield. Davis and Schneider too will play more games in the midfield, leaving the forward line to young guys like Ablett, ROK and Sunny.
