I think that Goodes is close to being the best around-the-ground ruckman in the comp... at centre bounces, I'm happy for him to be on a wing or playing as a ruck rover, but he belongs in the midfield.

If Doyle can finally get to the stage where he's available every week (or even most weeks), the relief on JBall will greatly reduce his chances of getting injured.

In fairness to Ball even If doyle was there this year, Ball went down in a freak accident in the forward line - perhaps his one in 2002 could have been prevented to better management...
