I would agree with that entire list except for Schneider. While I'm not saying he is going to bomb or anything, I just don't expect him to improve greatly on last years form because I think he'll be playing a different role next season. I feel he'll get more of a go in the midfield. I think he can stay at the same level he played at this season.

LRT I think will get a hell of alot more game time next season and his form in the finals showed us something that impresses me. I think he'll improve the most.

O'Keefe: Has huge potential and looked very exciting at times this year

I would like to see Fosdike improve - I think he's capable of performing at the same level as Jude did this year - just a question of whether it will ever happen.

Luke Ablett has huge scope for improvement. Fixter will hopefully get back to 2002 form. O'Keefe can break out next year. O'Loughlin could feasibly kick 70-80 goals with an injury free season. Maxfield could well get back to early-2002 form (he was 2nd in the TLM when he did his knee). Mark Powell and Jarrad Sundqvist are capable of becoming regulars. Davis can do twice as much as he did.

The possibilities for improvement are nearly endless.

i'd like to see many including fosdike, kenelly and ablett as i think they're still a way off their potential. saddington in full form would be a blessing too.

the one i really relish seeing an improvement in is barry hall. don't get me wrong, he was one of our finest last year, but i believe he has shown glimpses of something truly magnificent and may become one the greatest of his era (and type of all time).

Geez fish that's a big call. Imagine Bazza being more prolific than Plugger. He'll need to average 250 goals a year for the rest of his career to do that .... but hey anything is possible.

The player I want to see improve in 2004 is (can't resist it) - Ray Hall.

Except that Baz doesn't need to kick massive amounts of goals to have a massive impact on matches. This year he was probably close to a 1:1 ratio in terms of goals kicked to goals set-up. He's a CHF, not a FF, and despite not getting the rave reviews, he was in my opinion the best in 2003. The problem is, Tredrea doesn't seem to need to be the best to be considered the best.

Michael O'Loughlin.

I reckon he is the yardstick by which our team performs. When he is hot, our forward line is unbeatable. He went missing over the last few years of Eade's tenure at the same time the whole team faded.

There is nothing better than watching a naturally talented sportsman live up to his unquestionable ability. Much like watching a young Mark Waugh in full flight at the crease.

i agree with all of the above, especially fosdike, i really hope he steps up this season, huge improvement scope here

my two would be james and doyle, i would like to see them as the book ends, ie FB and FF respectively... if both these boys can stay injury free, they are our saviours... we need an extra defensive KPP desperately, to which james can fill this role... which leaves doyle, i can see him being a 2-3 goal a game forward, he would demand the best defender from the opposition, meaning that hall would have second defender, magic - third, davis - fourth, schneider - fifth... thats one hell of a formidable forward line that would stretch most defences due to height as well as plenty of crumbing power through davis, schneider and oloughlin, hell even bazza aint a bad crumber... with this setup oloughlin would run rampant as he deserves a KP defender on him but most teams dont have the personnel to cope with that, therefore he will end up with a utility playing on him, 80 is definitely not out of the picture!

If I had to pick one I would say Nick Davis. He has really good skills and I reckon he could become an absolute gun, which I'd love to see.

If you had of told me at the start of this year that we would make the Preliminary, I would have assumed that these three guys had blinders. Who would've guessed the improment would have come from Kirk, Barry, Bolton, Schneider, etal.

O'Keefe, Fixter & Doyle have the potential to take us to the top in 2004.

Funnily, I was one who thought of last year as a 'do or die' for him, and now he is crucial, with the loss of Cressa.

Nick Davis. And I thought he was quite good this year too. Just has amazing skills, perfect modern footballer's build... most every disposal is a quality disposal... I would love to see what he could do if he lived up to that massive potential.

And if he never does, he is still pretty good now anyways

I'd really like to see Rowan Warfe step up also Matthew Nicks, they need to show something to repay the faith the Swans hierachy have shown in them.
