Are the Swans one short on their list because they have a secret player to draft ?

i have heard a wisper that there maybe some one comming from beyond the conventional source.
At any rate there are going to be a lot of new faces next year, beause we have seven spots on the senior list, and about three on the rookie list !!
Thats 10 new players, or 1/4 of the playing list !
wow. times are changing at the swans.

We have lost Cresswell, McPherson, Seymour, Hunt, Buchanan and Stevens plus we had a spare spot on the list from last season. That's 6 players off the senior list, while we have promoted MJ and James, so that leaves us with 5 spots to fill and at this stage we'll use our first 4 picks in the draft and pass on the 5th and then use that in the Pre Season. With the Rookie List only Paul Bevan remains on it from last season and I would think we'll take at least 5 players for it.

I hear whispers that Jade Rawlings is really keen to try playing as a defender and wants to come to the Swans for $200k p.a. ... and all of the clubs above us in the draft are willing to honour this desire and not pick him up.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I take it this is a joke because Jade signed a 4 year contract during the week.

            yep

but I hadn't noticed that he had signed a deal already I have to admit, but I imagine it is for a touch more than $200k

I actually don't think that "the times are changing at the Swans". We've released the retired Cressa and Frosty, Scott Stevens and Brad Seymour at their own request, and two youngsters who've never had any influence on the team's performance anyway.

There is not one tough decision amongst that lot, really.
              We hate Anthony Rocca
              We hate Shannon Grant too
              We hate scumbag Gaspar
              But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

I have to agree with that, the decisions made were either going to happen anyway or were quite easy a decision to make. Of what is left only Warfe is a player I deem who shouldn't be there. I would of been quite happy to keep Seymour and boot Warfe. But thats the way life goes.

Not convinced by any of these "conspiracy theories" - including theories amount McGlone being delisted but due to be redrafted (though if that does happen I won't be upset). All looks pretty normal post season activity to me.
