    Copeland - Key Defender?

Well if he can do the same trick as we were hoping Ray Hall would, could he escape the clutches of Melbourne or Richmond.

Does anyone think this guy would boost our stocks in the right areas?

Could Andrew Iles get him over the line?

Almost no chance. Seems to have reached an in-principle agreement with the Tigers already.

Also, was not particularly impressed by his arrogance (in the media) after the GF this year. At least players like Akermanis have the runs on the board to be able to get away with it. IIRC, even a spokesman from the Lions suggested he should pull his head in. I reckon he's one of those players likely to find that playing footy alongside a rabble is very different to playing in a strong, slick and skilful outfit.

Copeland as a Key Defender at 186cm and 76kg, not bloddly likely. Still if by chance he was available (and he won't be) he would be a handy pick up for the midfield.
      Once was, now elsewhere
