I think its u/23 to be eligable for the rookie list..........so if he still training with us you would think he is some chance to be picked again.Would not be surprised if we don't pick him again someone else will

Yeah, I have been thinking about this , in referance to the way the Swans worked the p/u of Amon. I would not be surprised to see Mcglone back in the system. The guy can play.

Delisting from the senior list I understand, but why would you delist someone from the rookie list only to pick them up again?

Well why would you delist someone from the rookie list only to have them train with you again the next month after the delisting ?
I don't know enough about it to say for sure, but maybe to leave your options open, as well as possibly sending a message to said player of the importance of working on their weaknesses if they are to get a look in. Somtimes a little redemtion from an all to real fate, is all that a player with potential needs to take his work ethic to another level.

Because (most) rookies can't stay on a rookie list for more than two years at a time. (There are exceptions, eg for international rookies). Scott is still eligible to reside on a rookie list but will need to be taken again in the rookie draft.

Adam_Goodes_Babe, just some news. Nick will be picked up by the swans. They have promised him a spot on their rookie list. I love it how you pretend that you know him. Nice One!

Haha - don't you know, she's best friends with all the young, good-looking guys at the Swans. She has as many friends there as she has items of punctuation in her posts...

I think it's a bit of a leap to presume he will be re-rookied by the Swans, just because he's still training with them. Not saying he won't, but it would be natural for them to let him train with them to boost his chances of getting picked by a club, simply because he's already settled here and we're the only club in town. Would have been very hard hearted of the club to send him away.
