This aspect of the DVDs/videos would be particularly good - "Roos takes us through the entire season giving a unique insight into how he and his players stood up to the challenges."
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
Saw it at Grace Bros and HMV in the city. Only $29.95 on DVD. Pretty cheap considering the prices of other sporting DVD's that i have seen out in the shops.

I have that tape - got it way back at the end of 1996 - and it is most definitely worth the $10 you'll have to shell out. It still gets an airing at my place occasionally, especially during the off-season. If nothing else it's good for nostalgia value, and seeing some of the mullets that our heros were sporting at that time, especially Roosey.

Slightly off the topic a bit, but given the drought of footy press this time of year, AFL.com is so desperate that the question on their usual poll was, "Which is the most boring month for footy, October, November, December or January?"
Is there anybody who doesn't like cricket in the slightest that will be stir crazy come late January?
The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of Disappointment
Definitely worth it for that price. I bought it for my dad for Christmas that year and we still occasionally watch it.

How good is that tape? I got it a couple of months ago for $7.50 from the AFL store and have watched it numerous times.
So many great memories surfaced - how good was PK in his prime - simply outstanding - what a champion.
Shannon Grant was one of the top 3 youngsters in the competition.
Plugger was unstoppable - those snaps over his shoulder from 45 metres on 45 degree angles were unbelievable
Paul Kelly kicked the winning goal against Carlton and Terry Wheeler said "and they'e waving the flags behind the goals. And look at Rodney Eade; he likes what he sees!"
The result made standing on a gravel construction pit worthwhile.
Weird that Carlton security never worry about big flags being waved.
