    We're in "Inside Football"

In an article headed "Feral Forums" Luke Holmesby reports on afl fan sites and gives our URL address and an example of our handiwork. . . .

    "ON FORMER COACH GARY BECKENARA"
Would have to go down as the worst coach of all time,. We are still trying to work out his game plan and his fitness regime was second to none. Even Kelly was unfit."

Normally I couldn't be bothered with the mag (it's pretty crap) but I'm suffering severe footy deprivation.

And there were another couple of things of interest . . .

    1)
Mal Brown's interview with Terry Daniher blames Tuddy for him being traded to Essendon.

    2)
Ricky Mott's improvement in WA was assisted by South Fremantle coach John (Edelstun hates me) Northey.
He also reiterates his claim that he wasn't dropped by the Swans for being overweight.

One good thing about Inside Football, if it was'nt for it I would not have known about this website. Good or bad thing... only time will tell.

He didn't at Fremantle, I can't see much changing.

I'm sorry for being so childish, but am I the only one who had to read these comments a second time. I had a chuckle to myself reading this at work, I must admit.

From what I heard through the grapevine, the "grogmonster" issue with Mott was looking at his dismissal superficially.

He may have fitted into Eade's stopping nullifying defensive gameplan, but I'm sure Roos would have been more than upfront to him about him not really fitting into the way that he wanted to coach the team.

I know the cloak and daggers approach of the way things can be done at this club (especially pre-Roosey and Myles Baron-Haye). I'm sure Mott's dash was done well before he came back to pre-season training. He simply was not agile enough for our side...the rest is simply little more than just a smokescreen as far as I'm concerned. (However, I COULD be wrong...)

Had it been Goodesey 12 kg overweight, I'm sure we'd not have seen the back of him.And the club would have a new sponsor in Lite n Easy in the process!

For one he is too lazy to bend over that far.

Secondly we should put him into P46's Love Child basket, because he has always had a "big" opinion of Mott. He really has 2 teddys he takes to bed with him. The Rowan Warfe teddy and the Ricky Mott teddy.

Thirdly - I wonder what pub Mott, Fevvy and Lappin are drinking at today.

Rowan Warfe is a Plugger46 favourite?
Unbelieveable, I know he/she's totally doolally about Lockett but Rohan Warfe?
He's horrible, he's was a poor replacement for Heuskes when we got him and thank heaven Bolton's taken his place now.

I can't understand why he's still on the senior list!

No-one can. But he must be popular at the club. He got married about 2 weeks in country Victoria (maybe Bendigo) and it showed his wedding on the news and practically the whole Swans team was there!

                          P46 is a HE.

Ruckman, you haven't been on this site long enough to appreciate the long labourious debates on P46's absolute defence of Warfe, and faith in him to produce the goods that he believes he once had.

I think he is salivating at the thought that he might just get another game. He will be waxing lyrical if it ever happens.

I've already broken my new years resolution about not responding to P46 crap about dud's like Warfe and Mott, yet in the same breath he can bag Crouch, Barry and Matthews

Mott to bite us on the bum - for @@@@s sake stop this rubbish !

I don't think Ricky Mott is a dud - I just think he is a 1970's footballer trying to play modern football.

He MAY be a good player eventually but it all depends on his mind - he does have a lot of natural rucking ability. He was never serious when he got dropped to Port Melbourne and this is not a great sign from a junior footballer.]

Still, I wish him luck as I think Carlton need it!

                              Cheers
