            HOW STRANGE

I was the one who alerted them to the error in the first place, when the "you people" comment was made by Swans marketing.

I just checked and the email I sent after that comment was sent on January 19 and I still haven't received a response.

It seems strange, and very unlike Swans marketing. that you received an email.

In fact it's so strange and very unlike Swans marketing . . . . could it be that you work for Swans marketing itself or that you're one of it's stooges?

I may be completely wrong and you could be a perfectly normal Swans fan . . .

. . . . but I am still disgusted by Swans customer-disservice and it seems to me that promoting the "company line" on an unofficial website would be a more likely activity for Swans marketing than coming clean and making the apology they should have made in the first place.

This annual event, to be held on Saturday February 14 from 3.30pm, has become a very popular fixture in Sydney's sporting calendar and is the first AFL match played in Australia each year.

I've never been to the NSO game and was wondering how hard it is to buy tickets on the day at the ground?

The ground is usually close to capacity but never a full sell-out. Total capacity is probably 10-12k. The Plugger comeback year game was very crowded.

As there are no reserved 'seats' this year you should be fine and if you arrive early you may even score a stand seat (if that's physically possible).

I'm planning on getting there at 1pm ish to score a spot for us with the big flags in the Bob Stand, my second spiritual home. Anyone wanting a seat can come up with our gang. But they have to use a flag and cheer loudly. (Blackmail always works! )

I've also been fronted with a frosty reception at the club with regards to some general enquiries. I really agree that these people seem to express no respect whatso-ever to the life blood of the SSFC. Personally I regard the SSFC as my religion and if a convent were set up tomorrow i'd be the first to sign up, and in such a forum as this i'm certain thousands more are just as passionate. I found it very disappointing though not surprising to read others had been treated the same ie; " YOU PEOPLE ".
I'd give my right arm for THOSE PEOPLE'S jobs though it may come in handy when using a mouse to read this website and others to keep in touch with issues affecting the much valued swan supporter base. I really hope this issue can be brought to the attention of those in power.

                              Mate, you are completely wrong.

I don't work for the Swans. I'm just a regular fan. Although that would be a pretty plum job to have . As far as getting an email from the Swans, I guess I was just lucky.

Got to give credit to the club where it's due - I received a call from the Membership Department yesterday regarding an issue I was unhappy with. The response was courteous, helpful and the issue was resolved. I know there are people who have had unhappy experiences, but, acknowledgement is due for helping one member out...
                                Regards,
