It is good to see Brad Seymour back on board. Although he was apparently delisted because of his wish to be closer to his wife's business activities in Melbourne. Maybe he will commute to Sydney when required or is he back in Sydney?.
Matt Davis could be one player out of the box.

Jimmy Francis: Do you think playing only 5 games in Melbourne this year alienates the old South Melbourne supporters. Do you think we should play more games in Melbourne?
Roosy: We would certainly love to play more games in Melbourne as the support we get down there is fantastic and we enjoy spending time with the fans down south. Hopefully in the future, if the draw allows for it, we can play more games in Melbourne.
Andrew Nickels: With Barry Hall moving out to CHF and leading up the ground as a link up player, has there been any thought put into the option of playing him on the ball for a short burst to provide some strength at the ball?
Roosy: With Barry Hall playing CHF and given the amount of running required for that position, it is difficult for him to play on the ball. Although last year against Port Adelaide he spent about three minutes in the ruck and did very well.
Mark: Is there any interest in the Swans camp to try and get Lenny Hayes? As a Sydney born player, (our first "all Australian"), backed up with how good he plays, he may be good captaincy material in the future.
Roosy: Obviously Lenny is a quality player and we?d like to see him running around in the Swans outfit. The reality of it though is that we would think he?d stay at the Saints throughout his career and in saying that, wish him well for his first year as captain.
Heather: I think Nic Fosdike has a great footy brain and excellent skills. Would you consider playing him at centre?
Roosy: Certainly with Daryn Cresswell retiring, we would think that Nic would be one to play more often in the centre of the ground this year.
Frank: What was the highlight of the camp in Newcastle?
Roosy: The whole week was very enjoyable in Newcastle. We had two very solid training sessions on quality fields. The players enjoyed the interaction they had with the Novocastrians, in particular the kids, and hope they?ve encouraged there support for the Swans.
Matthew: How are the injuries of Jason Ball and Michael O?Loughlin coming along?
Roosy: Both Jason and Michael are on track for Round 1 and hopefully they can play a couple of pre-season games before that.
Sarah: Did you get any good tips from the training session with the Newcastle Knights?
Roosy: We enjoyed training with the Knight?s; they taught us a little about tackling and we taught them a little about kicking.
Peter Harris: I am wondering who is going to be your runner or runners for this coming season?
Roosy: Yes unfortunately we lost both our runners last year, which did a great job, in Paul Kelly and Stephen Tingay. This year we will have Peter Berbakov (Assistant Fitness Advisor and former Essendon player) and Brad Seymour has agreed to be our other runner. I think it is great to have a past player involved in this role.
Peter B: I was wondering if you could give us some information about Matthew Davis as a footballer and where you can see him playing in the future.
Roosy: Matty Davis is about 191cm, very very quick and a terrific athlete. His height and athleticism makes it difficult to say where he?d play but at this stage I would suggest either HB or HF.
Hugh F: Where do you see where Mark Powell at? Each year at every club there are surprises and sliders. Given that he has had an injury free preseason I think that this year he will step up.
Roosy: Mark Powell had an end of season groin operation, slowing his preseason fitness. The preseason games are important for Mark and I suspect he will improve on last year. Given an injury free season, there is every chance he will earn his spot in the senior squad this year.
