Good Day All Melbourne Based Members,

Just wondering if any of you have received your membership packages yet for 2004? i.e - membership, cap, etc etc

Also same goes for the cheersquad members - have you guys received anything?

Obvoiusly I am asking because I haven't received anything - your comments are welcome.

i sent mine off well before christmas but havent heard anything yet.

as for caps I think they are simply sending something to enable you to pick one up from their offices or from the first melbourne game

That is the case, also the stuff normally isn't sent out until stuff is sent out to Sydney members, so it could be any time in the next few weeks.

I am waiting to see if I got into the Premiership Club. That is one of the first 4000 to apply for this membership type. Given that there was a rush early it will be interesting to see how many are disappointed.

I'm a sydney based redback member and I haven't received anything yet. Don't feel left out!

Well, considering we can't use our membership until Round 6 we will probably get them very close to the start of the season.

Wouldn't worry to much about missing out on Prem club. I think all who applied will get what they want.

i would have thought it would be a good idea to get things like the caps out there amongst us die hard members...so we can wear them and encourage others to join up

But for preseason games if we have some down here we can use them for to get in for free?

I think 1999 was the last time we played a pre season game anywhere NEAR Melbourne - and doubtless in a few years time we'll be saying how great it was when we used to play home and away games in Melbourne

We played a practice match at the Western Oval against Melbourne in 2002 and also a Wizard Cup match against Hawthorn at Optus Oval
