    Fox Footy

    I was just doing my usual Friday night flick and went to Fox Footy ch 14 to see what game was on (usually this time on Friday nights it's a Swans game)

    There's a message on ch 14 saying that these are now the stations to go to.

    When I went to them some were ok, some scrambled

    Vic - ch 61 - ok
    ACT - ch 61 - ok
    SA - ch 62 - scrambled
    WA - ch 63 - scrambled
    QLD - ch 64 - scrambled
    NSW - ch 65 - ok ( I would hope so being based in Sydney)

    looks like it's a new format.

    Does anyone know anything further about this? Will see what I can find out from this end.

      I think it's the same format as before - Ch14 was always programmed differently depending on what state you were in. All Fox Footy is now part of the basic Foxtel package.

      BTW - Sydney is kicking Carlton's ass on FoxFooty at the moment!!

          I think its because Qld S.A. & W.A. are on different time zones?

              It's partly time zones and it's partly because they often show different programmes, particularly during the season.

                  Whatever happened to the "annual" Fox Footy cup telecast of the Sydney/Essendon game?

                  Also I went ot tape the prelim final between Syd and Bris only to see another repeat of the Darwin NT versus Dogs scrap heap! What's the deal!

                      Only lasted 1 year and that was because Fox Footy needed some practice before the real stuff started.

                          I think it was also because that was the year Tony Lockett came back for a brief stint, and I think that was his first reappearance in the red and white? They advertised it to death
