    Sydney vs Kangaroos

Apparently next week Sydney are playing Kangaroos at Optus friday at 4 O'Clock
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

It is on next Friday at 4pm at Optus Oval, pity that because I have to bloodly work at that time. Oh well at least I got to see them play today.

4pm on a Friday is a bit of an odd time! I suppose they weren't able to get any other grounds on the weekend.

Hopeully the side will be able to play a match in Sydney just before the start of the season (to get full value out of our "get free entry into practice matches" part of the membership )

I know it's a meaningless result, but it's always good to get a win on the board.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I'm just shocked that we are given trips to Melbourne 2 weeks in a row. Whats the AFL smoking

I think Tony Morwood would be trying really hard to get them down here trying to placate the fans that are mad about only getting 5 games.

True, its a good thing to have as many pre season match down here as possible. Its just a pity I have no chance of getting Friday off work.

Hopefully they can sneak one on the SCG, I have no idea what the Blues schedule is though. I think they are playing QLD there next week?

I reckon u lot are doing OK up there , you have 13 home and away games so far you have had a wizard cup and a practice match, feel happy for us!

I am lucky Friday is my day off, so it'll be pick kids up from school and straight to OO.

Woohoo. and here I was thinking I paid my membership to see only 2 games this year (in WA that is). Now I get to see 4 couldn't be happier for the circumstances dealt me.
If u don't believe me, I will knock your bloody teeth out and not pay you a cent.

Couldn't believe it when I saw that sign at the membership tent... What is the catch, though? Melbourne-based fans NEVER get this much luck... there's got to be a downside.

The downside is that the game is being played at 4pm which is a really akward time to see a footy much for working folk and even school folk.

The best case scenario is that most people will see the second half.

That is what I'm aiming for as I work in the city.

Confirmed - very disappointing really - what idiot decided to deny supporters an opportunity to see their team seeing as so many work.
