I'm still pretty sure that Meiklejohn is still on the rookie list so he will be pretty much unavailable for selection for rd 1

Definately agree that McVeigh will make his debut in rd 1

Meiklejohn was elevated to the senior list at the end of last year, along with James (ie on a "permanent" basis).

ahhh that's right, thanks Lizz. I just assumed that they'd keep him on they would keep him on the Rookie list cause he was still eligible to stay one more year. My Bad.

From that list, I reckon the first 19 pick themselves, and the last three may be interchangeable with the likes of James, McVeigh & Nicks.

That gives us a pretty solid 22 for round 1, since it looks like almost all these guys will be ready to go.
