Sore at Skilled

In terms of membership I'm a new chum, finally took the plunge this year and was looking forward to my quota of Melbourne games only to discover that the prepaid admission at Skilled is to a limited space standing room only. Were longer standing ( ) members aware of this? And isn't it time Geelong moved into the 21st century?

Hi Di,

Geelong this year has actually moved into the 21st century.

Previous years only a limited number of seats have been available to members to pre book (and pay) while by in large there was only standing room for our members (with out having to pay extra).

The redevelopment has meant there are now almost no standing room and seating will only be the only way to go. You then have a choice to make:

1. Drive all the way down to Geelong with out paying the extra for a reseved seat, on the off chance their will be any left of the limited number of seats at no extra cost

2. Pre book and pay the required amount knowing you are gauranteed once you get there of a seat.

The only other option, is join the cheer squad pay your $30.00 to the Swans and get one of the 150 seats set aside for them.

It may not sound like an improvement but at least you can now choose how you go about it unlike previous years where it was a limited number of pre booked seats (at a price) or stand.

or you could take option b and join the Melbourne Cheer Squad which gets you a seat in the ground at no extra cost, no need to worry about getting in either.

Should be able to book seats from either round 1 or just before.

Check what ticket agent covers Skilled Stadium, should be able to purchase on line with them.

I think its time they played a game at Geelong! Why should all the Sydney/Geelong games be in Sydney??

BTW, Dr J and I will be late to the game if our kids are playing footy that day, what is parking like, do you have any virtual parking spots???
