    Swans Collingwood blockbuster

Nice comment from Barry Levinson in his season preview regarding Collingwood and blockbusters

The one match not to miss this year, and why, will be: Sydney v Collingwood, round 13. It will be the only game on the second weekend of the split round. A week without footy last season was tough, but this initiative gives everyone a breather, as well as a game to stave off any withdrawal symptoms. But why does Collingwood receive yet another blockbuster? Any team would rate their socks off against Sydney in the only game of the weekend.

BTW He predicts us to finish 6th and Richmond 16th, but Essendon 1st !

The following is the article in full.

    Essendon
    Brisbane Lions
    Collingwood
    Hawthorn
    Fremantle
    Sydney
    St Kilda
    West Coast
    Port Adelaide
    Melbourne
    Geelong
    Adelaide
    Western Bulldogs
    Carlton
    Kangaroos
    Richmond

    Brownlow winner: Matthew Pavlich

    Coleman Medalist: Fraser Gehrig

    Rising Star winner: Jared Brennan

How many games will Setanta O?hAilpin play: Five

The most tiresome footy issue of the year will be: The financial instability of the struggling Victorian clubs. The game is thriving, yet some of the key stakeholders are not. The powerful clubs need to share some of the pie, because the game cannot afford to lose another traditional club.

Fraser for the Coleman is an interesting one. I still think Lloyd will be the most consistent FF.

The Pav for Brownlow is a long shot. He has to become Mr Consistent to be in with a shot. He will also have to play on the ball.

Brennan for the Rising Star is a likelyhood. He does look freakish and could have a Des Headland kind of year in a team like the Lions!

      Some predictions of my own:

      Most Kicks: Buckley
      Most Handballs: West (so boring)
      Most Marks: Hall
