Any word on Ben Mathews

Has anyone got any info how Benny is going - Is he a likely starter at Newcastle? Will he get a game round 1?

Will he be the next link player / centreman? AKA Cressa?

He has played a few good quarters in the middle - is it his turn to be one of the rotational players in the middle?

Or has the weight of number 4 gotten to him?

Could be the next good thing - hope so anyway?

Goodes will never make it we betta trade him now before everyone else realises he's a dud faction

We should recruit Everyone else's Mediocre players Faction

And I am the President and treasurer of the Matthew Nicks has been going backwards since 1998 and is a soft lazy hanger on who only plays decent games against crap sides and occasionally S&Don faction

Then there are the splinter groups

Stephan Doyle is always injured and will never make it

Nick Davis is an unknown superstar

They are the top 3 in the past, throw in Saddington and maybe Nicks and you have the top 5.

The faction against Matthews was by far the worst going around, with Jude and Goodes it was more frustration than pure hate.

While Benny's disposal at times can be questionable the biggest disappointment with the bagging was that they over looked the fact he is a dead set ball magnet.

You can teach players to improve their disposal but you can't teach a player natural instinct (a classic example of this is Kennelly, couldn't kick an oval ball 3 years ago but boy can he read the play and find the footy).

These days Matthew's continues to get the ball but is less inclined to make mistakes when disposing of it (after a little work on it) and the knockers have disappeared.

Getting way off topic now (bit like Saddo bashing in the Doyle topic), how did this place start? Was it just that bigfooty Swan fans were so annoyed by all the other fans over their?

I thought I'd keep going while on a roll.

Is Rapanyup anywhere near Rupanyup. If it is then there can't be too many belonging to that legion. 2 men and a dog live in Rupanyup, made famous last year by horse trainer Darren Weir when he got nabbed with giving his horses on route to the races a "milkshake", or possessing such equipment.

There were a couple of swans boards around over the years - including anniswan's email list.

Des can correct me but he and Steve started a rivals board about 3 years ago, now just run by Des as far as I know.

Personally I've never posted at Bigfooty just here and The Rant. From recollection the long-term posters (about 4 or more years) would be.

Des, Steve, Dr J, BBB, Mark, Bron, Lizz, Anniswan, Cher, Mike B, Bart, Robbiando (can get confusing as different people use different names), aplogies to some I cannot remember.
