    Football punters?

Just out of interest does anyone have a punt on the footy.
I do from time to time but I try and stear clear of any swans games.

Picked up a few dollars on Simon Black for the Norm Smith last year

Had $5 on Goodesy for the Brownlow last year. The odds were 51/1... would've gotten $255!!

Apparently, though, if there's three winners, they divide the return by 3. I think that sucks, especially considering that during September last year Buckley's odds were below $3, meaning that people who bet on him at those odds lost money on a winning bet.

The Brownlow market is a bit of a joke at this time of year usually - just checking one bookmaker Goodes is at $28. Pretty long odds for a reigning winner.

IIRC Goodes was $200 in about Feb of last year.

You can get Jude now at $200 - good value considering the votes he got last year, and the more responsibility he'll have given Cressa's departure.

        And he's got blonde hair.

Yep, I usually have a margin bet on most of the Swans games (1-24 or 25+). The odds for this kind of bet is usually around $3.50.

If there are extravagant odds on offer, I will place a bet head-to-head; the $5.25 that was available for the Swans to beat Port in last year?s semi couldn?t be resisted.
