Rogers and Bevan now can play Seniors 2004. Ainslie Oval is in great condition and will not cause any problems fot the Swans . Unfortunately, I will be in Qld early for the Lions match and will miss the game.

Sydney coach Paul Roos hopes to give several senior players one last run before their opening home-and-away match against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.
Jason Ball, Ben Matthews, Lewis Roberts-Thomson, Mark Powell, Michael O?Loughlin and Stephen Doyle look set to play in the seconds practice match on Saturday afternoon against Tuggeranong at Ainslie Oval in Canberra.
Roos believes all except Doyle will be considered for the opening match against the premiers if they get through the match without any hiccups.
Forward Adam Schneider will also come under consideration despite not playing since suffering a hamstring strain against Carlton in the first round of the Wizard Home Loans Cup one month ago.
?We think (Schneider) will play (against Brisbane),? Roos said prior to Wednesday?s training session.
?It is just one of those things that you are not 100 per cent sure until you get out on the training track and start kicking footys and he is going through that stage in his rehab.?
?He is sort of in that fine line. He has done a lot of running with the slight hamstring (strain) but he has only played 60 or 70 minutes against Carlton so that is going to be touch and go.?
The Swans relocated their match to Canberra after Lakeside Oval - Sydney?s training ground opposite the Sydney Cricket Ground - was deemed too dangerous from the drought, water restrictions and various other sporting activities.
?With the ground (Lakeside) the way it is at the moment we have to be really careful playing a game. We have to provide the players with the best facilities we can so we contact Ainslie (Oval) which is in excellent condition.
?It is a long way to go but I guess that is our commitment to the players that we are going to provide them with the best surface we possibly can.?
Meanwhile, today Sydney nominated Aaron Rogers and Paul Bevan as their rookies who are eligible to play senior football at any time during the home and away season.
