I don't think there will be a 2nd side until at least 15 to 20 years down the track (If ever), also that team would play at Homebush, no questions asked.

At the most, this ground would be a training/practice match facility, nothing else. I think it is just more to ensure the AFL is able to continue growing the game here.

Mind you if the Swans mastered playing the game on a 30 hectare oval we'd enhace our chances for the flag!!

hmm this sounds familiar. i think plans were in the works for this around 5 yrs ago. As i remember people coming round wanting me parents to sign petition for it to go ahead, must have worked. Back in the days when i played for the mighty Baulko Falcons!!

this 'new ' arena would have another thing in common with afl park waverly. the definite lack of public transport .
kellyville is dead set woop woops from any decent public transport . maybe they could build a train line to go with this new stadium. maybe they will complete building this complex just in time for the 2080 sydney olympics.
and as bricon correctly stated before centenial park trust tend to bus park not the scg trust.poor old scg trust gets blamed for everything. god forbid that our club wouldn't do anything wrong.
