What's happened to the Swan's tackling?

Did anyone else notice last night that the Swans didn't seem to be tackling as much or as intensely as usual? It is normally such a strong part of our game. last night they either didn't lay the tackle or made a token effort. I think the Brisbane side is so intimidating that other teams are scared of getting injured.I hope this improves next week.

I very much dount this. In fact I thought we were far from intimidated especially when some of the younger blokes stood up and gave as good as they got. Mcveigh standing up to Scott was wonderful to see.

Looked alright to me. It was game 1 of year 2004 so if some things seem a bit deficient at this time of the season I am not surprised.

If we were deficient anywhere it was that damn centre clearance problem we have had for years. Brisbane are so good at winning possession and kicking goals from centre bounces.
