I'm not saying they are special things. What I am saying is they were the main things I noticed in Ablett's game, which is what I noticed about Bolton's game a few years ago. This is how both of them have racked up possessions early in their careers. Bolton, last year anyway, managed to take it further, and do more with the ball and get the ball more. Ablett was struggling to really get involved much at all, and at least now he is managing to find space and be delivered the ball. Hopefully his next step will be to be able to go in and get the ball and do some more useful things.

I'm not saying that because his play reminded me of Bolton he will necessary become the same player or even a better player than he is now. I'm simply saying that he he was able to find the ball better than in his games last year and for some players it seems to take a bit longer for them to have an influence. Whether he becomes any good or not, I really don't know, as he seems to have reasonable talent but that ability to get involved has seemed to elude him a little so far.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

let's see Ablett put 10-15 good games together before we start raving about him. long way to go."As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment
