Goodes talks to Aka and Macca

Just listened to the first "Aka and Macca Show" with Akermanis and McCrae from Brisbane on the National Indigenous Broadcasting Service, Adam Goodes was their first guest and he and Craig joked and ganged up on Aka that Crouch outplayed him and got better stats!

Aka tried to talk up a groin injury to Davis but Goodes confirmed it being a hip flexor injury and he'll be out for three to four weeks. Goodes donated a pair of boots for Make-A-Wish (their charity of choice) and Akermanis in his fearless prediction of the week said the Saints will beat Essendon next week. Interestingly callers to the show were annoyed because Channel Nine in Brisbane cut the AFL off early yesterday before full time to go the Rugby League.

My impression from a long distance away is that AFL does better in Brisbane, both at the ground and on the box, than NRL, except for State of Origin. Do Ch 9 know what side their bread's buttered?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
