    The Sydney Swans Reserves will play in the pre-season final after beating Weston Creek by 78 points at Ainslie Oval on Saturday.

    The Swans kicked five goals to nil in the first term to shape what would be a walkover.


    Although Weston Creek began shutting down the Swans? running game in the second quarter, they managed only one goal, while the Swans kicked on to be 47 points in front at half time.

    The third quarter opened with a goal to Weston Creek, putting the Swans under pressure. They overcame it by kicking three goals to two.

    The Swans? four goals in the last term came despite physical football from Weston Creek, resulting in three reports.

    Doyle showed the Swans his worth with five goals for the match, while Buchanan?s three contributed to his best on ground performance.

    The Final of the Pre-Season competition will be played as the curtain raiser to the Swans v Fremantle game at the SCG on the weekend.

    And there you have it, folks....Josh Willoughby makes the first of many appearances in the Swans' Best list!

    And first goals (I believe) for "Who?" and "Ceiling Sweeper."
