AAAH!, not another season ending injury, I've had just about enough of them already.

Least it wasnt a permanent midfielder.

Did he do a knee or a career?

Poor bugger, has the curse of Heath James been transferred?

That will very likely be the end for Sunny.

            Poor bloke, that's tragic.

anyone know the state of his contract?

poor guy. i do get the feeling though that roos and the rest of the admin are attempting to build a bit of a "family club" atmosphere at the swans. if his contract is up at the end of the year i wouldn't be surprised if he gets retained on the rookie list, if he is still eligible.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Yeah just what we need a touchy feely place for injured players to maybe get another shot at AFL level. This club needs premeirships, quickly.

Sydney midfielder Jarrad Sundqvist is set to miss the rest of the season with a ruptured anterior cruciate in his right knee.

The 21 year-old injured his knee towards the end of the Swans? training session on Friday afternoon at the SCG. He was set to play in a Swans reserve practice match on Sunday.

Originally from Glenelg, Sundqvist was the Swans? fourth pick at the 2000 National AFL Draft when he was claimed with pick No.54.

He has played nine games for the Swans after making his AFL debut against Melbourne in round 21, 2002. He played eight matches in 2003.

Sundqvist is the second young Sydney midfielder to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2004 season with Nick Malceski also sidelined after rupturing his anterior cruciate before the start of the home and away season.

Malceski, who is entering his second year with the club, is yet to make his AFL debut after being drafted from the Eastern Ranges with the Swans? fifth selection at No.64 overall in the 2002 National AFL Draft.

Will do. Don't want young McVeigh getting injured as well.

Heath James did alright on the weekend.

Seriously mate, . Sunny was expected to show whether or not he deserved to stay this year. Now, that should happen next year. It's not his fault he got injured, and he doesn't have a history of injuries, either.
