Didnt think Powell did much wrong with his limited oppurtunities and seemed to play a fair bit in the midfield when on as well. I think he is in the same mould as Saddo, lean, solid pair of hands, no common sense about hair styles, but hopefully a better brain.
Doyle seems a bit unlucky, thought he would get a kick after 5 goals in the ressies. But Roosy and his boys must know he isnt prepared. Awesome to see the schneiderman getting a run. Seems wierd that our lads are getting back a dew weeks before, not after, the expected comeback date.- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. From what Roos has said, Doyle was always likely to lace up for at least one more reserves game. Don't forget that not only has his pre-season been severely hampered but he also played very little football last season.
Also, showers are forecast for Sydney on Sunday so it doesn't make sense to go in with a tall-heavy team.Comment
