I think I read somewhere that Roosy said he and Nicks would be playing this week, and I'm wondering what people think about it. He usually plays in the back half, and I guess with Schauble and Fixter both out there could be a spot, but I'd rather it go to Powell.

I used to really like him, but it's been so long since he played regularly that I can't remember why.

If I just imagined the comment, then ignore me.

Would have thought a week or two in the magoos before either of these would be considered.

Ceratinly would give Saddo a boost though

Warfe will only ever play for the Swans again, if we're decimated by injury. IMO it was simply the fact that he had a year to run on his contract, that saved him from being delisted at the end of last year.

Nicks may get a game later in the year if he can be a consistent performer in the reserves, but he'll likely retire at the end of the year too - (gut feeling).

the only way id like to see warfe in the 1s again was to show all the 'saddo bashers' what bad really is!

Somehow I don't think even Warfey's compromising photos could get him into the current team without having played all year.

If he deserves it in the reserves, I'd be happy if Nicksy played at least one game this year. He deserves the 150.

Thanks, now I understand. I thought that it would have been weird if both Nicks and Warfe walked into the 22 after coming back from injury and questionable form.

I don't think he's a bad player. Never a superstar, sometimes good, sometimes average, but I don't know where all the hatred comes from. I reckon someone just decides that he's @@@@ and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon (this applies for all players). Injury hasn't done him any favours (or Nicks, for that matter).

Yeah, good get, I'll even concede Nicks the game. Is suspect they will each get some games late in the season as younger players find it a long season.
