    IN: Doyle
    OUT: Roberts-Thomson

    IN: Riccardi, Milburn, Wojcinski, Mackie
OUT: Moloney (suspended), Bartel, Rooke, McCarthy

I think milburn is a plus for the cats as well.

I seem to remember him cutting us to pieces, a few yrs ago, at home.

But he has not been that devestating for a while.

I think Doyle in for LRT is a great move..

LRT has been out of touch for the first 2 games.

So their only tall forwards are Kingsley and Playfair?

James and Barry can cover them.

      Mathews on Riccardi.

The Cats will be manning up on us everywhere else on the field.

Micky must be doubtful, emergencies are interesting, if Micky is out will Buchanan play forward pocket?
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun

I always turn to the sports pages first, which record people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures......Earl Warren

im presuming you are saying that barry will take kingsley and james on playfair???

IMO, bolton would be a better matchup on kingsley

          barry on haynes

kennelly on tenace - battle of the speedsters

i cant put a face to gardiner

id say milburm will take okeefe
          scarlett on hall
mooney on doyle - this worries me, mooney will give him another injury, i hope geelong try and do what they did last week and push mooney forward and that will lead to harley on doyle

kirk on ling - kirk took corey last year, however, corey is a bit down on form at the moment

I doubt Magic will play. I would expect Buchanan to come in then. This leaves Doyle at FF probably, although O'Keefe could be the one to play there instead. I think he kicked 5 there once a few years ago. This would leave Buchanan in the pocket when he comes on.

Saddo in the forward pocket is interesting. Doubt he has played there too much ever.I think he will be given free reign to go where he wants, predominantly around the wing and HFF, so he doesnt have to be too accountable and just enjoy his game. We surely have enough other matchups in our favour to allow this.

This may be the game to try Saddo as a "spare man in defence" - not in the Jason Cloke mould as an extra defender, but in the Chris Johnson mould to set up play from the backline.

If Magic doesn't play I actually wouldn't mind seeing how Saddo goes at FF... which I know is getting ahead of myself, but I have always wondered about it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

But isnt this what kennelly and barry do in defense already? Plus the more space they have, the harder they run the ball out of defense, so chucking another bloke in there would only clog their space and reduce their effectiveness.
